After
a two month holiday hiatus, Alumnet is back! Here is the news you need to
know!
Get
involved in the National Alumni Association.
Elections will be held Thursday,
March 3rd at National Convention in Miami.
You do not need to be present at Convention to run for office, but it is
strongly encouraged because new officers
will be introduced at dinner on Friday, March
4th. Officer nomination forms
can be found at http://www.pse.org/Forms/NAAOfficerNominations.pdf.
Please submit your nomination form by February
18th, 2005. You must
be a dues paid member by January 1, 2005
to be eligible for a board position. To renew your dues, go to
http://www.pse.org/register1.asp.
To view the current tasks of the NAA Board,
please view the NAA Tasks document at http://www.pse.org/Forms/NAATasks&Agenda.pdf. Please contact NAA officers if you
would like to be involved or offer any suggestions. We look forward to hearing
from you!
Alumni
members attending convention can "buddy-up" to share costs. If you
need assistance locating a roommate, please contact Kelly Greenauer at kgreenauer@dowlohnes.com for
assistance.
Attention Convention Attendees:
The Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon can use your help. We
are seeking coaches and judges to
assist the students in the competition. Any coach or judge must attend
the training session, which will be held from 2:30
PM - 5:00 PM on Friday, March 4th. A reception follows the
training. If you are a coach, you would then determine what time you will
work with your assigned student. This can be done Friday night
and/or for a short time on Saturday morning. Anyone who is judging must
be there from 11:30 - 4:30 PM on
Saturday. Lunch will be provided. If you are interested or have any
questions, please contact either Ann Devine ann.devine@pse.org or Joe Ashbee at (330-903-3818)/ joe@galaxymedical.net as soon as possible.
Your support and help is greatly appreciated.
Professional programming for alumni, sponsors, faculty,
professionals and graduating seniors will be Friday, March 4th from 9am
to 4pm at National Convention in Miami.
The program will consist of Sales, Marketing, Assessment and Customer Service
seminars. This program is for sales and non-sales professions. To view
presenter bios, visit http://www.pse.org/pse-alumni.asp.
Annually,
the NAA hosts a summer planning and networking event. In 2005, the meeting
will be held July 28-31, 2005 in Irvine,
California. Mark your calendars and make your reservations now.
The Hyatt Regency, Irvine is the
host hotel and the secured rate is $115/night. To make your reservations, call
the hotel at, 800-223-1234 and mention that you are with the PSE National
Alumni Association. Deadline for hotel reservations is July
2, 2005. The hotel offers a free shuttle from the Orange County/John
Wayne Airport.
A
geographic alumni survey will be available THIS WEEK on the PSE website. We
want to know where you are and what you are doing now. We hope to use this
survey to reconnect lost alumni. Click www.pse.org after
February 11th to complete the survey.
Thank
you,
NAA
